Unlike traditional games like Candy Crush, esports competitions require structured tournaments, strategic skill, and often involve third-party intellectual property (IP) owned by game developers. One challenge for Indian esports is balancing the interests of private game publishers and national sports federations. Since most esports titles are private IPs, tournaments require collaboration between developers and federations.
